Gaza Protesters in Red Surround UK Parliament in Dramatic Demonstration

LONDON, June 4 — A large-scale demonstration in support of Gaza erupted outside the UK Parliament this afternoon, with hundreds of protesters dressed in red forming a striking visual blockade around the Palace of Westminster.

The protest, which began just moments ago, features powerful chants directed at political leaders, including Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer. Protesters could be heard shouting: “Keir Starmer, starving kids in Gaza,” and “Stop killing doctors, stop killing journalists.”

Organisers and demonstrators are calling for an immediate arms embargo and an end to what they describe as the “genocide” in Gaza. The colour red, worn by participants, is said to symbolise the bloodshed and humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region.

Police are on the scene monitoring the situation, but the protest remains peaceful as of now. Traffic around Westminster is heavily disrupted, with roads cordoned off and public transport delayed.

This protest comes amid growing public pressure on the UK government to reassess its role in arms exports and its stance on the ongoing conflict.

This is a developing story. More updates to follow
